With the release of the Unreal engine 3 development kit (free for non-commercial use) this has come 1 step closer to becoming reality.
Help is needed, so if you know someone that has an itchy trigger finger and wants to join an albeit very ambitious but cool project, throw an email after me and i'll attend to it asap :).
