Alien Culture is a 3rd person action game, taking place largely on a newly discovered planet called EDN-1. In the year 2188, Earth has been ravaged by pollution, war and overpopulation. Terraforming plans for neighboring planets proved it to be a slow and painful process, not taking decades but centuries United, humanity now has little choice but to turn it's eyes towards the stars for a second home.
After decades of searching, a habitable planet was found, and colonization was begun.
But something is awry, suddenly all contact has been broken by the colonists.
Under the direction of the United Nations Military Forces, two starships have been sent to investigate the situation...
Background Story Millenia ago, an ancient race called the Seraphim discovered an ancient power deep in the darkest void of space. In their attempt to wield this power, they cursed and ultimately wiped themselves out, decimating their home planet.
Attempts to destroy the ancient object that wielded this ancient power were in vain, and instead it was decided to split the object into 3 parts and forever bury them deep under the crust of a lone planet.
After a long search, the ideal planet was found. To protect the planet and its powerful secret, the remaining survivors set about creating a clone race, in their image. Dormant and forever watchfull, guarding the planet's secret, the clones would awaken if anything was ever to set foot on the planet.
Now humans have settled here and the clones are awakened.
Features & Gameplay
Supernatural EVE Powers. Alien Culture features physics gameplay through theuse of EVE powers, which are 'gained' throughout the game, these are used to solve puzzles and obstacles.
Unique Characters. First to be encountered are the ophan, plane shifting aliens whom can use an abillity called ethereal walking, allowing them to move trough solid objects and the vacuum of space.
A non-intrusive, immersive Heads-Up display (HUD).
